USD fee looks wrong
verify the ETH price is current and entered in the expected currency.
Convert gas and Gwei assumptions into an estimated ETH and USD transaction cost without presenting static presets as live network prices.
Crypto & SecurityRead the full guideAn Ethereum gas fee estimate multiplies gas consumed by the effective price paid per gas unit. This calculator converts editable gas and Gwei inputs into ETH and USD; transaction and speed presets are planning examples unless a verified live source and timestamp are shown.
Common Presets (Gas Used)
Static reference estimates are calculated locally. Actual gas costs can change with network congestion and wallet settings.
Estimated Gas Fee (Standard)
Balanced fee for normal confirmation.
Network congestion, wallet priority settings, and transaction complexity may affect final cost.
Select a preset to auto-fill the Gas Used value.
Enter the source data: Enter expected gas used—or a gas limit only when you understand the difference—plus the gas price in Gwei and an editable ETH/USD price.
Choose the relevant settings: Choose a transaction or speed preset only as a starting point. Replace static values with wallet or network estimates for the transaction you intend to send.
Review and verify the result: Review the fee in Gwei, ETH and USD. Compare slow, standard and fast assumptions, then confirm the final values in the wallet immediately before signing.
verify the ETH price is current and entered in the expected currency.
use the wallet’s current gas estimate and effective EIP-1559 fields rather than a static preset.
replace it with expected gas used when estimating likely cost.
For a simplified estimate, multiply gas used by the effective gas price, then convert Wei to ETH. For EIP-1559, the final effective price depends on base fee and priority fee and is capped by the max-fee setting.
Gas limit is the maximum execution budget set for the transaction. Gas used is the amount actually consumed; unused gas is not charged as if it had been consumed.
Treat all transaction and speed presets as static examples unless a verified source, retrieval time and freshness state are visible beside the value.
The calculation runs in this browser component, but that alone is not a complete privacy guarantee. Use non-production data unless you have also reviewed extensions, clipboard history, downloads and site diagnostics.
The layout adapts to narrow screens. File selection, camera access, clipboard actions and downloads still depend on the permissions and capabilities of the mobile browser.
Replace every preset with the latest wallet-provided estimate, compare the ETH and USD impact, and verify again before signing.
