Staking Rewards Calculator

Estimate staking rewards over a chosen period, including compounding and validator commission, with assumptions you can edit and audit.

Direct answer

A staking rewards calculator projects token rewards from a starting balance, rate, duration, compounding schedule and validator fee. The tool provides presets for selected assets and a custom option, but displayed rates must be treated as static references rather than current protocol or provider yields.

Estimates are for education and planning. Actual rewards can vary by validator, slashing risk, protocol changes, and market conditions.

Popular APR Reference

APR values are approximate references and subject to change.

How to use it

  1. Enter the source data: Choose ETH, SOL, MATIC, ATOM, ADA or Custom, then enter the amount, editable rate, duration and token price used for the scenario.

  2. Choose the relevant settings: Select a compounding frequency and enter the validator fee or commission. Keep APR/APY terminology consistent with the compounding method shown.

  3. Review and verify the result: Review gross rewards, fees, net rewards, final token balance and fiat estimate. Export the inputs with the projection and compare several rate scenarios.

Key capabilities

  • Editable asset, token balance, rate, duration and token-price assumptions.
  • Compounding-frequency and validator-fee controls.
  • Gross rewards, net rewards, fee and final balance outputs.
  • Daily/monthly projection views for planning.
  • Copy or JSON export for reproducible scenarios.

Best use cases

  • Compare validator commissions under one stated rate assumption.
  • Estimate the effect of compounding frequency over a chosen period.
  • Build conservative and optimistic staking scenarios without presenting them as forecasts.

Limits and safety notes

  • APR and APY are not interchangeable. Rates may change, compounding may not be available, and rewards can depend on validator performance or protocol rules. Do not use generic statements about lockups or unbonding for every asset and staking method.
  • The core transformation runs in the current browser component. Browser extensions, clipboard history, downloaded files and site-wide diagnostics remain separate exposure points, so never enter production secrets unless you have reviewed the complete environment.

Troubleshooting

Reward looks inflated

confirm whether the input is APR or APY and whether compounding is being applied twice.

Fiat result looks wrong

check the manually entered token price and remember it is not a future-price forecast.

Validator comparison is inconsistent

use the same duration, rate basis and compounding assumptions for each scenario.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between APR and APY in staking?

APR expresses a yearly rate without compounding in the figure; APY includes a compounding assumption. The interface must identify which rate it accepts and must not compound an APY again.

Are the staking rates live?

No live-rate claim should be published for the current presets. Date-stamp and source a rate only when AppKiro introduces a verified live feed; otherwise label it as an editable example.

Does the result include slashing or unbonding?

Not by default. Slashing, downtime, eligibility, bonding and unbonding rules vary by asset, validator and staking method and require asset-specific inputs or explanations.

Is it safe and private?

The calculation runs in this browser component, but that alone is not a complete privacy guarantee. Use non-production data unless you have also reviewed extensions, clipboard history, downloads and site diagnostics.

Does it work on mobile?

The layout adapts to narrow screens. File selection, camera access, clipboard actions and downloads still depend on the permissions and capabilities of the mobile browser.

Use the tool

Run the same balance through conservative, base and optimistic rate assumptions, then compare net rewards after the validator fee.
